Was initially unsure as to where to go as the sign we followed did not lead us to the right place (Although the posted sign supposedly lead to the area we were supposed to be seated at). The usher ha… Full review by Joel B

The show was amazing, but the experience at the London Coliseum was crap. They had run out of most of the merchandise, they didn’t have quite a few of the soft drinks available, and for a Saturday ni… Full review by Mark W

Hi, what is the view from the balcony seats D26 D27 please? Bought tickets for the nutcracker in December! Very excited!!! Many thanks Eva
A:
I believe you would have a great view. We sat in the upper circle and moved about a bit (not many people up there at our performance) and everywhere we had a good view of the stage.
Q:
I booked tickets on line but did not receive a confirmation email or e tickets. How long before the event are the e tickets sent?

Hi, I think it was about a month before the event

I haven’t been in “the slips”, we were in the centre of the front row for Nutcracker in December which was amazing. Maybe the Coliseum website explains best:- “Dress Circle Seats at the very far sides of rows A-C and are similar to slip seats, as they curve dramatically around the stage. This can result in side views of the stage, which may require you to lean forward to see the stage.” Hope that helps..

20 members of a community choir went to see Chess last night, the show was excellent. BEWARE though = my friend bought a small g& t and a small wine and was charged £17.50, upstairs I bought the same drinks for the interval and was charged £11.50. 5 other members of our group had 5 small glasses of wine and was charged £40. What is going on here? Is it a scam to con the tourists? Where is this extra money going?
A:

These prices are excessive. I'm not sure it is a con unless the price lists show the published price to be different or the staff lied to you, but it does demonstrate the excessive costs of drinks in theatres and it is unfair. Had you bought both of your drink orders downstairs, you would have paid significantly more for your drinks than we paid for the two tickets for both my wife and I to see the performance. As with Enfield Peter, we tend to have a drink before we go. The timings of evening West End shows tend to be such that a nice meal with a bottle of wine can often be fitted in and costs about the same for a couple as two pairs of drinks at the theatre. The total cost for both of us to see Chess, have a pasta meal, bottle of wine and dessert at Bella Italia came in at just under £100, which is as it should be for a night out.
Q:
